Why every fee on the site carries its source
Each row carries a confidence tag — OFFICIAL, INDUSTRY or INTERNAL — so you can see what kind of number you are looking at before you build on it. A government fee names the authority that charges it, so the number can be checked against its source rather than taken on trust. Where an official fee and a market quote exist for the same item, both sit on the page, and the gap between them is left visible instead of explained away.
How VAT works on a business setup quote
Government fees are disbursements — the firm pays them on your behalf and passes them through, so they carry no VAT. The firm's own service fee does. That is why a total here is built by adding two different treatments rather than applying one rate to everything, and why the displayed figure is the one you actually pay, as UAE law requires.
