Tax computed at the moment you post, not at month end
UAE VAT at 5% and corporate tax at 9% are worked out as the entry is posted, so the liability sits in the ledger from the moment of the transaction instead of being reconstructed at filing time. The journal is hash-chained: change a line after the fact and every entry after it stops matching.
What an autopilot month-end close actually means
The close runs on its own against a trial balance that stays live, so the month is not a week of catching up after it ends. The finance hub carries seven tabs over the same ledger, so everything in it reads from one set of numbers.
A thousand simulated futures instead of one forecast
The twin answers with a range and a probability instead of one confident line: the optimistic, middle and pessimistic cases all come out of the same run, rather than being three scenarios someone builds by hand.
What the payroll run actually produces

No — Atlas is a sales demo built for GCC construction, not a system deployed in a business. It boots in a browser and runs the real logic: the postings, the tax arithmetic and the payroll file. It is there so you can judge the mechanics before commissioning a build.
Does it handle UAE VAT and corporate tax?
Yes — 5% VAT and 9% corporate tax are computed as entries are posted, and every posting writes a balanced journal. Treatment varies with the supply, so check your own position with the Federal Tax Authority or your accountant before relying on any figure a system produces.
What comes out of the WPS payroll run?
A downloadable SIF file rather than a report to retype, and the balanced journal behind it, posted at the same time. Atlas is a demo, so the file comes out of sample payroll data — what it shows is that the run ends in the artefact the bank takes, not in a screen somebody copies from.
Does it depend on outside AI services or API keys?
No — the demo needs no external API keys. The copilot answers from the live state of the system in front of you, and the charts are hand-rolled rather than pulled from a service, so the whole thing runs without an account anywhere else.
